2. Appointments

If the surgery is busy and your appointment is not urgent you may be given an appointment for another day.
Any urgent problems will, of course, be dealt with on the same day but not necessarily by your GP of choice.

The secretaries/receptionist will ask for some details of the need for your appointment, this is to ensure you are given an appointment with the most appropriate clinician to help you.

  • Our surgery operates on an appointment basis.
  • The Practice is open Monday to Friday between 8am and 6.30pm.
  • The telephones will be answered by the Practice between 8am and 6.30pm to arrange appointments, home visits or ask advice.
  • You can phone the Surgery between 8am and 6pm to arrange an appointment.
  • All surgeries are operated on a 10 minute appointment basis.
  • Patients aged between 16 and 74 who have not seen their GP in the last 3 years, or patients over the age of 75 who have not seen their GP in the last 12 months may request a consultation.
  • If you are over 75 and your medical condition prevents you attending the Surgery, a home visit may be arranged.

 Check Surgery Hours

We would wish you to keep evening appointments for those people who are at work during the day.

You may also request a telephone call to arrange a non-urgent routine appointment via our secure online form.

  • This is checked daily, but not continuously, and a secretary will call you back within 2 working days to arrange a routine appointment.
  • For anything urgent, or needing immediate response, please call the surgery directly on 01352 746131 and follow options.
