Dental Access Portal
The new way to register your interest for NHS dental treatment
If you are already registered with an NHS dentist and need to make an appointment for routine treatment, please contact your dental practice directly.
If you are not currently registered with an NHS dentist, you can apply for a place online if:
- You are aged 16 or over
- You have not had routine NHS dental treatment in Wales in the past four years
- You live at an address in North Wales, for more than six months of the year or are registered with a GP in the area.
You can use the Dental Access Portal to apply for a place with an NHS dentist as an individual and you can add someone else, such as a child under 16.
You can also apply on behalf of others, such a family member, friend or someone you care for or have a trusted relationship with.
Your previous dental practice should be able to offer you an appointment if you have had treatment with them in the last four years.
